
52 Weeks: A Year in Game Developer Interviews
My next venture – an e-books of 52 interviews with game developers from the largest triple A studios to one-person outfits.
At around three in the morning yesterday I had an idea. 52 interviews spread out over the course of a year with one interview being published each week on gamemoir.com, the gaming culture and lifestyle website I run with my good friend Yesika Reyes.
Once the year is up we’ll collect all of the interviews into an e-book. The goal of 52 Weeks is not to simply post Q&A interviews. We’re writers and we want to write. Each set of answers we receive will be re-crafted as features which aim to explore why the developers we’ll be interviewing do what they do.
For that, we’ll be setting up a Kickstarter to help fund the book and we’ll have more details in the new year.
